which parts for tuning up '54 QD-15 10hp

after reading through the posts for several hours.... think I'm ready to give this a shot. I've noticed that alot of the parts offered in the iboats store are from 3 different manufacturers... which one is the preferred manufacturer? Thinking I'll do the plugs, coils, water pump, and carb. and replace LU oil.

first, welcome to the forums. you'll definitely find a lot of good info here. I've bought parts from all three, and they all work fine. I just buy based on price. Others may have differing opinions.

Thanks for the reply and the welcome... definately a wealth of information here... I have 3 other motors (2- '52 johnson 5hp, and a 50's merc 5hp) that need tlc so i think I'll be a regular here.
