I'm trying to find out which owlud be the proper wire that produces around 15-17VAC from the stator as I need to pick it up and run it my Isolator i'm trying to get going in my old boat to charge onlu one aux battery

..I was informed that the isolators will not charge at a full 14VDC but if a non recitifed wire from the stator is used full voltage will be achieved...Any idea which wire it might be?? Thank you in advance

I think I answered another post by you. I thought isolators only worked on DC voltage. The stator wires are yellow and come from under the flywheel. I recommend you check your facts before proceeding. What is the charging capacity of that motor. If less than 20A, it may not be worth doing.

Hi Chris. If u did answer another post I didn't see it, but I spoke with a tech from the company that makes the isolators, he told me there are usually 3 leads coming off a stator and he didn't say which was which but he did say that if I used a "rectified" wire to power the isolator that it would be up to 1 VDC less from what it should be, therefor the reason for using one of the three AC lines coming out of the stator as he said it would be up to 3VAC Higher and the diodes within the isolator with rectify on its own
