Which tach?

1993 M40C. Tried the Tiny tach, never could get it dialed in. Which tach do I need? Tiller, elec. start.

The original tach, 3B7725302M, is NLA. You can use 3AC726400M or 3AD726400M (Black face or white face), $74.25. Fits all 4-stroke models and 40/50/60/70/90 2-stroke models. Available from any dealer, including me.

The Tiny Tach is a induction tach nothing complicated to install, just wrap 4 turns of red wire around any plug cable + ground and tach should work properly, if tach is good should see number readings on the window, if not, dead internal bat. If it's not working properly, probably ordered a wrong tach for your engine model.
