Which would you rather have ???

Heres the deal. I have a 1993 115 hp Mariner that probably only has 75 hours on it . I knew the folks that had it and it has sat for about 4 years . I done a compression ck. and it was 123-125 on all 4 , I am now rebuilding all the carbs and the water pump . It is on a 1990 pontoon boat , should Isell the boat with the motor and buy me a later model motor that I don't know the hours on , or keep this one . I want to put me a large 18-20' Jon boat together and want some big power on it .Which would you do ???? Thanx Cooter

Why sell a know, and buy an unknown?<br />If the 115 will serve the purpose, then keep it, its almost new.

75 hrs. is nothing and the compression is good, I say keep it, it will run for years if you take care of it.
