 I am looking at kickers for my 15' boat. Which one do you think is better a 2 stork or a 4 stork? I can get a good deal on a 6hp 4 strok Mercury. Do you think it will big enough? Thanks Flash. :)

4 strokes are quieter, less emissions and generally get better milage. A 6HP is not going to plane your boat. If you just want to cruise around slowly, it will be fine.

Ahoy, Flash.

You don't mention what 15' boat you have or whether you are looking for a primary power engine or truly a "Kicker", which is an auxiliary engine.

Both would make a difference in how much power you would need and how much weight is acceptable on the transom.

You will get better answers on the Outboard Forum, so I am moving this there.
