white fluid out of lower end?

I have a 40 horse merc tracker I changed the impeler and now I went out everything ran fine but when we went to leave I turned it off and it wouldnt start back up when we got it out there was a white liqiud coming from the prop does anyone know what it could be? We just got the boat!!!!!!!

That would be a mixture of water and oil.

pressure test your lower unit and find the leak.
