Check with a local dealer, Stoked Not.

Engines that have been used are classed as some category of Hazardous Material. UPS and FEDEX both refused to ship for me. Strap it to a pallet that a fork lift can handle and get a freight company to ship for you.

Another possibility is get his dealer to ship to your dealer.

Good luck.

Red sky at night. . .
JB :)

I recently had a couple power heads shipped Yellow Freight. Any of the overland freight haulers will work, find the one with best prices. UPS and FedX both have weight restrictions and as J.B. stated have some strange HAZMAT restrictions for any items that may contain petroleum products.

Keep the Bait in the Slick.........

I recently shipped a couple powerheads via Yellow Freight. Weight was 193 lbs. Cost $295.00 from Oklahoma to Maryland and they were the cheapest I could find. Yellow will ship almost anything that you can pallatize or put into shipping box.

Keep the Bait in the Slick....

Buying something that expensive sight unseen would make me a bit nervous... I hope all works out in your favor...

Walt

$5,600 sounds too expensive for a 2nd hand 125elpto. You could get 2002 brand new in the box for that kind of money.
