Who else got water in their boat this weekend?

Well, I wanted to get the boat wet this weekend, just not this way!

I opened up the boat on Sunday and found that the couches and upholstery in the cabin were wet. I don't know where it came in at, but if found its way into the main cabin. I'm not talking about a whole lot of water, just enough to stain the fabric and get the fan going inside.

Until now, I?ve never gotten water inside the cabin unless one of the hatches was open and I took a wave while underway. I spent most of the day re-calking anything that would take a bead. I guess horizontal rain blowing at 25-30 mph for 10 hours strait will find its way into anything.

I got water in my boat, but it was from the dripping passengers after swimming in the river and soaking in the 90? sun. But you probably weren't thinking along those lines...

Ouch that stings...Hey at least someone's enjoying thier boat

We're all dried now but scheduled to get wet again, this time after the crane puts me in. Should be in the slip by dinner time.

We had some nasty rain recently, and I am happy to say I saw no signs of water in the boat. I do have to rebed the windlas and do some work up there, but the water doesn't get into the boat, it gets into an area behind the front berth panels.

I got water in my boat in 2 different lakes this past week! Lake Eufaula in Alabama is awesome! I also found out for the first time what 30mph winds are like on a large lake...Boat handled it fine, but made for lots and lots of spray.
