Ha! You wanna try living here!
There is absolutely zilch on the TV here. So much crap.

Even The Discovery Channel is not the same as back in the UK.
End up watching films that are cut to ribbons or Sky News.

Thank god I have a boat!:D

I am getting ready to cancel our Directv, what a waste of time and money.

I folded like a taco last year and bought AT&T Uverse TV for the first time in my life. I wanted cable so I could watch football on Monday nights. Our TV doesn't even come on very often. I decided just this week that I am going to cancel... that is money I could be spending on my boat!

Dropped service television (cable, direct, etc.) over 13 years ago, and can't really get broadcast where we are. The kids have some shows that they purchase on DVD we all watch together on occasion, and I like to find some of the older stuff (Adam 12, The Lone Ranger, Andy Griffith - that kind of thing) or good documentaries on the net sometimes. Otherwise, I just don't have time for it much anymore. Maybe an hour or two per week is the most.
