Who has a jasper rebuild

well my motor is done<br />mechanic suggested a jasper reman instead of a rebuild. Any one use them before?<br />how long did it last?<br />Thanks

My BIL got a 351 reverse rotation from them after 1 season the harmonic balancer seal leaked oil and they gave him a repiar allowance <br /><br />Its been and otherwise prefect motor <br /><br /><br />tommays

What size engine?Have had good experience with Jasper until we needed a 3.7L.<br /><br />Dismal ordeal,but they finally made good on it.<br /><br />DHP

Had one installed in the spring of last year 1995 3.0 replacement. The engine itself seems fine although a little under powered compared to the old one which may not have anything to do with the engine. Compression is good and runs good otherwise.

haven't bought one for a boat, but did for a car. It was great. drove it for 40,000 miles before selling and with no problems.

Worked at Jasper,I used to build transmissions and run the dyno, all products they build I would swear to...

Just put in two 454 longblocks, they scream!<br />Went from 4400 and 4350 rpm to 5000 and 5100, they were built by the performance side and came back retrofitted with roller cams.<br />Over the years I've put in about 30 Jasper engines, they are top notch and have a better warranty that new OEM. They usually will out perform the original.

Did a 5.7 at the beginning of last season. Over 75 hours so far no problems. They get the thumbs up from me.

Have installed bout 20 Jaspars in the past 5 years,all(far as i know)still kickin.One is to show up this afternoon here for an 87,27ft Ray 350/alpha and I will install it with FULL confidance.
