marine grade vinyl flooring is non skid and goes down as easy as carpet. cleans as easy as a glassed deck. i had vinyl in my last boat and have had carpet in my currant boat for the last 3 yrs. the carpet is coming out this summer and vinyl or grizzly grip is going in. carpet is hard to keep clean and takes too long to dry.
