Hi, MY and 18rabbit.<br /><br />Nope. The nearest cable service is about 25 miles away.<br /><br />DSL is not currently available here either. Sprint keeps telling us that it will be "soon". They have been saying that for 2 years.
<br /><br />I still think that DirecWay is too expensive for me. I got DirectTV a few years back when they had a free rx and installation in return for a 4 year commitment. <br /><br />One of the reasons I hesitate on the DirecWay is that Murphy's law will make DSL available a month after I hook up.<br /><br />There are downsides to living where I do, but the upsides are too great to consider giving them up.<br /><br />I am currently leaning toward a hi-speed dial up, like juno. I will continue investigating them.<br /><br />Thanks for all your input, guys. It has been really helpful.
