Well, for everyone that has their stuff in a permanent place, I'm now jealous. Today is moving day so I get to lug all my carp to a new place. A wee bit bigger and it has a single car garage so I guess the ol' lady won't get to complain about living in a garage now lol

and nothing is permanent....even if you "own" if you dont pay the payment for 30 plus years and pay it off, the title holder (bank) gives ya the boot...

Renting is a good way to go...you're "liquid" in assets and can move around...kinda nice...

whats with teh one car garage though....Im sure theres 2 car rental houses ini your area !!!!!! lol you need it!

And to think that I'm half embarrassed for any of the neighbors to see into my garage or barn!

I haven't even allowed MYSELF to take any pictures, afraid someone might gain access to this computer and see them.

Ma, I could have been a contender!

And let's not forget HER basement!

I could strangle our Daughter long ago for showing Mom all about yard sales.

Owning here is a lot more lucrative then renting is. Especially these days. Besides, I'd rather pay $600 on a mortgage then toss away $1400 for a house with a 2 car garage. With the money I'll save, in 2 years I can build a 2 car garage with a shop! wooohooo!!!

Dang Vegas, first there was the elk hunt in September, then regular hunting season here in VA and then the 70 day job from hell starting in November and somehow I missed this entire thread.

There have been periods in time when I coulda won this contest hands down, but in order to find lost supplies and tools, every once in a while we do a few salvage runs so at present I'm not worthy

Heck, when my son was racing, we had 8 or 9 Honda CRX's piled up out there!

I have 46 acres here, so I take a different approach-When a building fills up, I just build another one My sister calls them the Harrison Complex haha

Damn model airplanes. Not to mention the 5 or 6 planes in the "empty" bedroom and the 12X20 storage unit.

Well I had to bring this back up because after the move to the new house, organizing and today being nice (last 2 pics) I finally have my garage close to where I want it and it's a WHOLE lot better then that rental place we had. Just need to get my welder here, garage wired for 220v and bring the shop crane here. Got lucky with the boat too and not setting up the portable garage (as you can see in the first pic). Just put a tarp on it and although the pole I used to prop up the tarp ripped through.... zero water inside. My whole house mess looks a whole lot better
