Who has the over heating alarm wiring diagram (that was on here almost 2 weeks ago)? Thought I saved it? It was for maybe a 45 HP Chrysler. Would most be the same? Thanks! JOW

Re: Who has the over heating alarm wiring diagram?

If you have the thermoswitch on the cylinder head it should be all the same. The orange wire goes from the thermoswitch to the engine wiring block terminal, from there the orange wire in the main wiring harness connects from the engine wiring block to your warning light/buzzer (it may go to the ignition switch, you can use the ignition switch as a junction point if need be.). The other terminal of your warning light/buzzer goes to a 12 volt power source. The orange wire is the ground wire for the circuit and is completed if/when the engine overheats. The contacts on the thermoswitch close and completes the circuit when heated excessively and your buzzer buzzes and your light lights! Hope this helps.
