who's business? IBOATS business! these people posting here are their customers (they hope).if something in your business is offending customers in any way, you get rid of it if you're a smart<br />company. of course most don't really care if this<br />site goes away, but there will be a lot of important<br />questions that will go unanswered in the future.<br />I have personally soaked in a lot of great info.<br />from this site, some of which may save me thousands of dollars, or better yet, my life!<br />when you get something for free, I guess you just<br />don't appreciate it! <br />just my opinion, I could be wrong <br />M.Y.<br />PS it takes both sides to fight

fair enough guys, good info is always appriciated. however jb roasted a couple people here unprovoked if you ask me. why is it ok for him to do so? you guys don't really think that moose and me and others are really serious? jb isn't going to go away just because he got jabbed back for an attack on a poster. he has too much "wisdom" for that.

I think it was JB that was standing by to help me on my first post. A lot of people have had that experience. Where does a 400lb gorilla sit? ans. anywhere he wants.

nbn:<br />I thought maybe I missed something in a previous post. I don't see where someone was "roasted". And it's not just JB, I'm sure he can take care of himself. However, alot of people come here for serious discussion, help, and good hearted humor not to read post after post of someones attempt to make a joke of what goes on in this forum. I think thats what JB was pointing out. Maybe there is a need at this site for a forum that deals with peoples need to provoke debate.

ok fine guys. i'm not backing down on the guns and boats post though. i was pretty funny. why did it get so big? because a few other people thought it was funny too. it certainly didn't hurt this forum as it brought me back manny times to check it out and other posts as well... of wigh i did give help and advice to (imagine that) look, that post was a one time thing that prbably won't happen again for a long time. too bad in my opinion. but troll should not have to aplogize to anyone for starting it! that is my point. again, don't try to squash a post, just ignore it if you don't like it. i've been roasted here for sure... does it bother me? nope. if i am such a problem here don't help me next time i post a question. i'm betting i will get some help from others though. geeze guys, it's an anonymous forum on the internet... nothing is personal. i could be a 12 year old girl from korea. ya never know.

storm, yes there is great info here, and i've benefitted myself from it.. the answer is simple, don't read "post after post" of a topic that offends you. that's like eating the hamburger then telling the manager that it was awful and demanding your money back! just ignore the posts that don't relate to what you are interested in. "guns and boats" "who hates raghaulers" my guess is that these topics are going to get interesting posts. simply click on my friend. this is a pretty big forum with many other posts and questions. still can't see what the big deal is! i'll just have another beer and some bacon and wait for fire and moose to show up.

OK, let's all take a deep breath. JB's point was that a bs post of this type (along with guns & girls, etc.) belongs in the "Nothing To Do With Boats" forum, not this one, as this one should be for technical matters. It clogs up searches when you're tracking down valuable information. He has a good point. That does not give anyone the right to flame him, especially regarding physical disabilities, etc. Come on, let's all grow up a little. Freedom of speech is something I'll defend to my death... freedom to bash and flame is infantile.<br /><br />Sorry JB. Refer to NTDWB Forum for a more detailed apology.<br /><br />I would delete this if I could... Admin, HELP! People just can't leave this alone to DIE.

sco i agree 100% rags said sorry anyways. i'm fully aware of the situation... i might be dumb but i'm not stupid. look, i never posted in a forum so strict about posting in the right sections before, and i have posted in many other forums. i will do my best to comply as i know i can't win this fight here and i **** well know i will need some help here sometime in the future (i own a boat remember!) so i give up. will go back to lurking and replying to questions where my knowledge might come in handy. but.... if a gem like "guns and boats" ever pops up again, i'm there! so to jb and all i will take a break and behave, just like i have to in real life. there i did it. you can put down your pool cues now. can someone buy me a drink?
