Who knows about MACKINAC boats?

My wife and I are looking at a '79 MACKINAC cruiser. Seems to be in great shape but I'm not familiar with the brand. Can anyone help? Will most likely purchase this in the a.m. <br /><br />Thanks !<br /><br />John

Iam restoring a 1973 cruisers mackinac...its going in the water in about a month. I have been from one end of that boat to another. Nothing worked ! It had not seen water in 20 years. I only paid $500 for it. After some tinkering the engine purred. Have fun on yours ! Do something crazy on the maiden voyage !

Cruizers is made in Oconto wis for about 50 years
