Who Makes It?

I own an '06 50HP Mercury EFI Four Stroke.

I've been told it is made by Mercury, others say it's made by Yamaha.

Can anybody confirm one way or another?

Until 07', the powerheads were made by Yamaha. Now, the smaller HP engines are made in China using Merc parts...
