Re: Who said you can't tilt the engine by hand if it has power T/T?
45_red..

The guy I bought it from said it worked great less than 3 months ago. He's a family friend, trustworthy. He told me to soak it with PB Blaster, and grease the zerks really good and let it sit for a while.
He then said to connect the power tilt, and try to raise it with the power tilt (instead of by hand). He said that should definitely move it since it hasn't been long since it last tilted. He said if that doesn't work, call him, and he'll help me out. The only problem is he is 3hrs away from me, so I can't just go down there...

FLWhalerman,

I am kind of having the same problem. I keep the boat/motor up at work, and every morning I have to pull it out of the shop. Well, the motor is trimmed all the way down, and it drags a little bit. Then, I have to push the boat/trailer/motor in without a truck at the end of the day because I have to keep the tongue down to keep the motor up, so it doesn't drag...pain in the rear! As for the release screw, it didn't do me any good...

Thanks guys!
Shawn
