Re: WHOA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey MIKE NZ To me coming in hot means cutting the motor off about 150 to 160 feet out from shore. Any closer and you could wind up like my original posting here. I certainly would NOT try that reverse slam ESPECIALLY near a dock or OTHER PEOPLE!!!! That's way too hot for me. THANKFULLY AND RESPECTFULLY BART (SEVERELY LANDLOCKED) SR,

Thanks Backwater & Bart. I 'came in hot' on a horse once. She was a hire horse who decided to go home, fast, real fast. I lost a striryp and one rein as this possesed mad mare ran to her spot where she ties up. I lie not, we were at a full gallop heading for a fence, from 6 yards she through out the anchor (all 4 of them) and slid. Her nose stopped at the fence and I stopped at her ears  . A bit like that Huh.

HEY MIKE NZ I had a similar thing when I was twelve. Seems the lead rope wasn't secure and took a swing up in front of the horse's face and spooked him out. He took off at a dead run straight for the barn. Of course there was a fence but instead of brakes there was a sudden right turn. but only for the horse as I went flying overthe fence and went head over teakettle for about twenty feet. Bruised and scratched and darn embarrassed. GOOD HUMOR!!!!!! THANKFULLY AND RESPECTFULLY BART (SEVERELY LANDLOCKED) SR.

Wo!!Boy. Ouch. Thats hot. Your either hot or your spewed all over the ground, right. I saw two 12 foot Ali boats 'come in hot' plaining not to far from the ramp. The 2nd boat seemed a bit close to the first maybe 10-15 feet between them. Then the front boat buttened off and our hero in # 2 mounted the rear of # 1 by a couple of feet. It looked like 2 ali boats mating in sringtime.

Ali is a term used to describe an aluminium boat. We also call them tinnies, usually refering to lighter gauge ali boats. (The sought that kill you). We dont have aligators, crocadiles, snakes, poisoness spiders or other nasties in NZ. You can run barefoot through the bush without a worry. Those catfish get a bit of coverage on this site. What can they do you?
