You folks worried about jinking are nuts! Problems are minimal when the boat is maintained properly.

A boat can create some wonderful memories- an xbox just doesnt.

Fixed my trim system today (was one of my complaints in my previous post)

Decided to take the boat for a ride with a friend afterwords.....you guessed it, won't start So ready for an outboard.

So much for running great.

My 1988 bayliner with 85 hp force outboard has been flawless for me, very greatful and very happy Today unfortunatly putting the boat back on the trailer the Bow eye pulled out of the hull.... So not sure how im going to fix this problem ...

after completly gutting and rebuilding the entire boat, and having a few electrical gremlins last week, the wife and i spent 8 hours on the water today. by ourselvs, you read that right BY OURSELVES. first time this year, it was great. we put 60 flawless miles on it, did some swimming and had a nice dinner, by OURSELVES!!!

New floor, truss, complete electrical, new steering system, stainless fuel tank with new water separator, fuel lines, bilge pump, quite a bit of work on the motor. Runs like a champ, very stable, fast, take it out every week up and down the Fraser river.

Rotten transom, Tightned-up gimbal housing bolts, caulked er up with 5200.......I'M A MENACE..LOL.....EVERYONE'S GONNA DIE!!!!!! LOL. Not a drop in the bilge.......
Have the dreaded "YOU don't want one of those" LOL, OMC Cobra 5.0 HO....Not a single hiccup, little cold-natured about it.
Probably put 50 hrs so far this season, including off-shore in the gulf, no, we did not die!!!!!!!!
Tubing, skiing, Hydrosliding........

Paid $2300.00 for the boat, deck and stringers forward of the engine have been already done, why they did not do the rest?? Dunno-Winter project.

Running great here too -

Shakedown cruise was today, boat had been sitting for 20months. Started the season by replacing most of the raw water cooling system (oil cooler, risers, raw water pump) and giving her a thorough tuneup including a good carb servicing. She purrs like a kitten and runs like a top. Needs a good polishing, but otherwise she's ship-shape
