Who's gotta work today besides me?

Due to newer mgmt. who don't quite yet have a clue on how our sites operate, I'm goin in today - and will do absolutely nothing. Customer was fine w/ me or one of my guys on call if something breaks, as usual on a hoilday/weekend, mgmt. trying to cut back on hourly O/T. and I'm salary so I'll get a comp" day and they owe me one from last week. I may actually get a 4 day wknd this week :>)

I don't get Holidays off ez, I do get an enhanced rate on vacation accrual though so it works out nicely in the end.

On the other side I work Graves now so its not so bad....

I'm working out of our Mexico facility today, however I'm Canadian and we had our holiday Monday last week !!!

Many thousands of first responders and LEOs are working today, and probably earning every penny. Let's thank them for being there if we need them.

I, along with quite a few other soldiers here are working today. I wont get a chance to go home till August, but I am saving up lots of gas money so I can spend at least a whole week on the lake when I get back!

I gotta work tonight, graveyard. The nice thing is....they pay me double time and a half, so tonight I will earn what I am really worth! HAHA!!

Just hapened to be my sceduled day off so I'm off but unlike my coworkers who are off due to the holiday I'm not getting paid

changed start up late sunday so i got to go in at 3am till 4pm just to find that out of 75 expected trucks only 4 showed all morning so we could have started the plant on night shift and i could have had a down day. anyway heres to the guys the day belongs to. bless them all

I've worked almost every holiday since I was 16. Just the nature of my business I reckon. However, I fish almost every Wednesday so that kinda makes up for it right?

Did not as monday is a regular day off. However, I get paid for the day. If it had not been an RDO I would have worked it though. Having monday off is the best of both worlds, I get the actual holiday off and get paid for it
