why 6 c rings

I just got a new cross and bearing kit 75832T -- It came with 6 c rings. Is there somthing I am missing. The u-joint requires 4.

Mistake from the factory??

Surely they aren't putting extras in the package in this economy...

Yes; most of the U-joints I have changed came with 5 or 6 clips too.

Ayuh,... Might be multi-fit joints...
Some clips are Outies, 'n some are Innies...
