Are some people so insecure with themselves that they can't understand that different people enjoy different things? Wow... pretty closed minded around here.

I thought this was a boating forum. Didn't realize it's only an I/O forum.

There are plenty of them on the lakes in AZ and rivers in WA and OR. they have some attachment that lets them throw a big rooster tail up on the beach. There is also a company up in northern MI that uses them on there faires to go to macinaic island.

I don't think it's an I/O only forum issue. I have waterjets, outboards, and I/O's. I think your problem surfaced when you started using "advertising hype" terms like "highly efficient" and "fuel consumption is not an issue". If the real world data won't stand up to your claims, it doesn't mean that anyone is biased.

I'm not a member of Boattest.com either, although I have found that their tests are very accurate and easy to reference. I couldn't find the SX210 on their site, just the 212SS, 212X, 232, 232S, AR230HO, and SX230HO. All of them seemed to get right around 3.5 MPG at best cruise around 27 MPH, with a top speed right around 50 MPH.
