no doubt, fear breeds fear.

I think the potential consequences of ignoring GW as propaganda are too great.

There are way too many variables to come to any scientific conclusion at this state in mankind's knowledge base as to the primary cause of global warming. Clearly the largest single factor is the ball of gas we revolve around, (thanks to the allmighty for sure). Many of you are ace mechanics that know the art of trouble shooting to eliminate variables. How do you possibly have sufficient data about the sun to eliminate the largest varaible there folks? The tilt of our planet to and away from the sun, or the wow in the orbit is another large factor to ponder. The climate clearly has been both warmer and colder over the last 4 billion years or so, (way before mankind started doing our thing). Natural events like volcanos and astroids are other things to ponder. Algore, and his liberal buds just want the Chinese or Indians to be able to do what they want when they want without restriction while trying to hamper our economy with world imposed controls, (and the world does not like us, even before "W" was elected). I love the environment as much as any tree hugger does. It just does not make any sense to surender to "Eco-nuts" that just have a scary warming trend that they are trying to exploit to ruin our system with their nutty adjenda. Respectfully JR

I personally think all that is irrelevant, even if true.

As stewards of this planet, we and each generation has a responsibility to leave it as close as possible to the way we found it.

We are adding ton's and ton's of GHG into the environment every year. Logic says it must be doing something, but even if it is not absolutely indisputable, it is still unacceptable to be adding these gasses to the environment and do nothing about it.

And the fact that this may well be inconvenient to some is of little concern to your children, and their children.

Edit: I'm tired of being preached to by these 'rightous" people that don't do it themselves. Walk the walk!! I'm tired of the talk.

The "truth" does matter though. Many people use their "feelings" instead of their brains. Fear really makes those "feelings" come to the surface. If you choose to walk, ride a bike, or row your boat bravo for you; not only will you "feel' better, but your health should benifit as well. Please don't lobby for unreasonable limits and restrictions on the rest of our very productive country because of your unfounded feelings about various unproven theories that are fashonable at the present time. Remember trees and other plants and crops recycle CO2 and there are more trees today in North America then there where when Columbus or Leif Erickson discovered America. Have you ever pondered how much jet fuel Algore burns promoting his various crazy ideas, for his own personal political benifit? Respectfully JR
