Ok, I am new here and don't know if I am opening a can of worms but.....

I have been a member of other forums for my car and they have all had a for sale / trade thread, sure you get a few bad eggs every once in a while, but for the most part things run smoothly, so why don't we have one. Sorry if this a touchy topic ane I just don't know it, but I am new so I don't know if this has ever been brought up before.

iboats sells boats, so they prob. wont do it because of that. sometimes they remove cl links with that reason.

Ok,, for example neons.org had a for sale thread, even though it was hosted by an aftermarket parts supplier. The only rule was it had to be used parts or trade items only, just wondering.... Although I can see the point of wanting to buy new items (EX. torn cv boot and your car does not sink)

oh well, guess thats what cl is for, I just always liked browsing thru the for sale items, sometimes I would even by them

this horse has been beat to death, yes, we would like to be able to do just that, but the cost, moderation, and administration, is overwhelming.

iboats just installed a complete new server just for this forum. and the forum is free for anyone.

It's ridiculous in my opinion, but the site owner owns the site and forum and can do what they wish.

I belong to a performance Pontiac forum run by a company that sells Pontiac parts, yet they have a member classifieds.

Just seems like abnormal greed to me *shrug*
