The way the test should be written is the million dollar question. I don't know or have I ever proposed to know the answer to that question. I have only answered the original question to this thread. As long as they favor one culture, people will file law suits. I think it is interesting to note, people that bring about these lawsuits win them. This means there is a white judge sitting on the bench in agreement they are biased.

I, for one, would be ashamed if they changed the standard for my skin color/cultural background.
Then you should be ashamed because that is what has happened, for whites anyway.

Be a part of society as a whole, not just your little tiny ethnic corner of the city.
So what you are saying is that you want everybody to be the same...like you, when you know full well this cannot happen. That speedwagon, is racism.

If anyone doesn't want to be wholly AMERICAN, not a hyphenated American, there's the plane, go back to where you came from.
You do understand that most were born here...right?
To once again answer the original question to this thread. As long as people with the sentiments of speedwagon are making the "standaradized" tests, there will be lawsuits.

Speedwagon, I wish to thank you for taking us back many years, prior to 1954 to be specific. May 17, 1954 was when public education became desegregated. Blacks were allowed to attend what were previously "white" schools. The decision came via Brown v. BOE. It gave the same educational rights to blacks that whites had enjoyed since the inception of this country. Progressive thoughts and standards keep this country moving forward today. It is now happening in employment.

You say you want the most highly skilled for the job. I think what you really mean is that whites are always the best for any job, and that is the way it should be. Otherwise, what do you fear? Do you think when an african-american is born in the US their culture is lost or should no longer exist?

I'm not Irish-American, or German-American, or Scottish-American. I am an American
You also understand that "American" is not a culture...right? Just because you have chosen to ignore your roots, does not mean others should.

I even know a guy in the Army, who is black, that says the same thing. And he hates it.
Hmmm, I wonder why he says that around you.
