I don't think that you are going to see much in the way of trouble because they are all covered by 3-6 years warranties from date of purchase. I have read about a few problems, but BPR has jumped right in and replaced or repaired the engines. If it has been an engine failure, they are taking the engines back to their tech site for testing to see what happened and why. That is also good marketing on their part and good way to find out early if there is a major problem like the ones that Opti-Bombs had.
I would love to be able to jump in and replace my old 89 Merc 200 hp w/something like this, but the $$$$$'s are just too many. Lot of price swings from dealer to dealer. I was told anywhere from $18K to 25K for a 250 hp installed.
