Wouldn't that be the simplest answer? Kurdistan, Sunistan, and ****estan.

I know Turkey wont like it, but its gotta work better than the curent idea.

Ken
Take last Friday. All of the news TV/Papers were claiming Civil WAR in Iraq!
Monday NOTHING!
Because over the weekend the Army and Police (Iraq) supported "their goverment" the new one and that was a great stand for them.

Well I only replied because this was your post.
LinkThe only hope is that the region will accept the process by which their government was brought on and reach an accord where their own people take ownership and pride within the governing of the nation. That is, it, the acceptance of this form of governance, takes root and mobilizes the people to take back their nation from those that have held it captive for longer that I can/care to remember. To me that is the idea at it's most basic level.
That has already occuredOriginally posted by rolmops:
The predominantly non bedouin Shias would try to hook up with their Iranian brethren.
I agree.180 deg. out from the current self serving mentality of the region.Originally posted by PW2:
What they really need over there is a Ghandi, or Mendala, or some sort of charismatic leader to bring the various factions together. Unfortunately they need to be born--They can't be made.
