Why WV catches slack.......

For being a backwoods state.
I received a high speed driving award on my way through WV. I ask the SHP Officer if I can pay the fine on the spot as I'm not from the area. He responds we're not set up to process tickets from the squad car. I'll need to call the phone number at the bottom of the ticket M-F between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM to make restitution. No big deal. I make the call expecting to pay the ticket over the phone or make other electronic transfer arrangements. So imagine my surprise when I'm told I have to mail a check or money order to the court house in order to clear the fine.:facepalm::facepalm: WTF is it not 2011???

Backwards.......and proud of it! I hope this is not a bash of my home state that I am proud of.

BTW.... a paper trail in better for you than an electronic one anyway. Have you ever applied for a passport? Check only!

Th Whites are a dying breed and made a killing doing a movie. You want to put up a post about your misfortunes and then blame it on a hillbilly?

I can tell more stories and jokes about WV than anybody. I feel soooo sorry you are forced to spend a few cents to pay your debt by breaking the law.
