will 90hp force LU fit 50hp force?

I have a 1996 force 50hp and someone has a 1992 90hp force LU for sale and says it will fit but I want to double check before I get it..

You have a Force, NOT a Mercury nor a Mariner. There is a Force page on this board. Try posting it there.

my bad.. the force actually says (Force made by mercury) on the cowling but I didn't realize the force section..Can a mod delete thie thread..
