Our veterans Post was donated a 94 28' Four Winns Vista running (2) VOLVO/OMC cobra sx V8's outdrives . engines have the close water cooling system , Both engines are great but both outdrives and Transom Gimbal need replacing due to corrosion from sitting in saltwater for 3 years. We were wondering if we can replace the drives with (2 ) Newer Volvo Penta sx Transom Assembly , and up the what year without doing any mods to the 94 Transom , This is a photo of the omc's that 94 omc sx's that were on the boat, by the way our drives have no water pump.... it's on the engines and belt driven by engines, thanks jim
