Best way to find out is to try it...! Change the oil and filter, put in fresh plugs and give a whirl. Good luck.

ok yes it should run but first make sure it turns over by hand not starter, then if so pull the distrbuter and prime the oil pump and get oil into motor before u try and start but i would check carb gaskets first could be bad but if never used might be ok. And yes they were built better back then and made of cast not to much can go wrong just make sure it has good oil pres first !!!!:)

Not a chance.

It has no name, model or type.

What if it spent those 30 years at the bottom of a lake??

I agree that the biggest variable is how it was stored. In temp controlled storage, out back under the woodpile or used as an anchor for the neighbor's raft.

Or somewhere in between.
