I have a 1991 boat with a omc cobra2.3 litre in it and would like to know if a 1985 4.3 V-6 mercruiser would fit? any thoughts would be appreciated thanks.....Mike
Tiz, You need to measure the width of the stringers under the motor. The 4.3L will have a motor mount on each side, on top of the stringer. If you can find a boat with a 4.3/5.0/5.7 motor, you can measure how wide the stringers are apart and the basic size of the block. The 4.3 are obviously not as long as the v-8
