Do you have any mechanical experience at all? If so most of what they've done you could probably do yourself with a service manual and the great advice from the pros here. They can walk you through just about anything..

200 for carbs? 165 for fuel pump? OUCH..I bet you coulda done those fairly easily yourself even with minimal experience.

You've got a great motor and it shouldn't be to hard to get it runnin' like a champ..

Could have made a fuel pump by now !!!!:D
I think you should get a manual and do it yourself. Fairly simple job with all the guidance you need right here on this forum.

have to agree...apart from a certain amount of satisfaction in getting it done yourself, you'll save a boat-load of money. literally, a boat-load. you may find this hard to believe, but despite having no formal mechanical training (or informal for that matter), I've never put a boat in the shop and don't intend to. and my boats have always been old.
