will a pump work on a zodiac?

I am buying a 18 ft zodiac and want to run a pump vs prop motor on it, will a pump work ok? thanks joe

I assume you meant a jet drive. Yeah it'll work. You'll need a big one though.

sounds like alot of effort, it is way cheaper to just buy a air compressor, or stop at the gas station to pump up on your way to the water ....
