Would i be ok just hooking a maintainer to the batteries or would you use the switch and combine the batteries when im running the boat i usually sit for a few hrs while the kids swim

I went to the Blue Sea site opened up the page about your5511E switch. not very clear about which 1 you have. 1 looks normal. Other is very confusing about operation. I would call or EMAIL blue sea about your switch.

Im running the same setup. Whats confusing?

The switch is a simple on/off/combine for use with an ACR
There is no need to switch between batteries (battery 1/battery 2) since the ACR handles the charge function. Otherwise, it operates like a normal battery switch
