PC War? Talking points? Madrid and London? While the dems are meired down in a mentality of intellectual impotence, we end up with only one option. RUN AWAY? Make a face at a detainee, get called a Nazi, watch our troops dragged through the streets and chopped up and we get reminded of our obligations to the Geneva convention. We look for unity - we get partisianship. We look for new stategies and we get RUN AWAY TO JAPAN?
If you are unhappy with the current direction, you can always look to the dems for ... for ... nothing. Devoid of even constructive critisizm or any meaningful suggestions, we have no option but to "stay the course" as the non-suggestions from the dems leave us no other options with the existing leadership. Note, our mere existance is an offront to these a holes, running away won't matter. It is my belief that we have not been attacked not because we have done anything, but because they fear what would happen if we were unified. They know how fragmented European populations are. No spine. Guttless political leadership combined with "MULTI-CULTURAL" populations they cannot muster the committment to do what is right. But if this country comes together and gives our military the tools to win, they won't have enough virgins to satisfy their suicide bombers. Right now they are satisfied with leaving us as a nation divided. Divided mind you, by our own ignorance. (well some of our population anyways)
We are facing an enemy who KILLS for cartoons, allegations of defacing books, even the pope is an offront to these murderers. If the left had half a brain, Rumsfeld would have been out a long time ago, but they don't care about the war, only politics. Note to the left - You cannot bribe, negotiate, reason, make enough concessions to these terrorist groups to satisfy them. Look at the sucess of the UN. (What a fine group, the ones the left wanted us to get permission from)
War is something the left is ill equipted to deal with. This hasn't always been the case, just a recent development. Not knowing that is a mistake. As unhappy as we may be with how the war is going, although there has been many successes, (you won't hear about them on the daily kos) we should be looking at mopping up, but we continue to hamstring our troops. Hate of our own country is what is hurting them most. Get over it. LIstening to those who think Cindy Sheehan is honoring her son's death is what gives these terrorists hope. Understanding your enemy is the key to victory, and we have a thousand year record of the terrorists beliefs and practices. Ignoring the reality won't assist our troops in attaining their (our) goals. BTW there is a difference between understanding and sympathizing.
Lincoln was of course correct. Some are just too self rightous to understand the quote.
