Try it. '77 and '85 should be running the same gearbox with maybe different gear ratio's but other than that should be a piece of cake. The '85 may be running a 2.3:1 whereas the 115 a 2:1. That difference will only show up in how much pitch you need to do a certain job. The prop shafts, clearances and all should be the same.
If it has a lot of pitch, you may have to change your trim tab and run the narrow one. On my current prop, I have had to trim the leading edge of my narrow trim tab to give it room to turn, but it works fine.
