Switched out my OEM spark plugs with Autolites.....I'm assuming a spark is a spark is a spark. Gaped them according to manual, so far no problems, started right up.

No problem or big mistake?

Thanks in advance.

Plenty of opinions on this subject, but I just run the specified NGK plugs in mine, no real reson to make changes in this area. What if the heat range is just a bit different and it damages your motor, what you gonna say, "I screwed around with the plugs". Good Luck!

As stated heat range and gap are what matter. Not too cold, not to hott. Also the length can vary don't forget the index washers if so equiped. I would go factory, if avail.

NGK is the only way to go. Then you know.
