Farve is on a plane coming back to the QUEENS. As a cheese head that has had to put up with this nonsense since 2003 I say enough is enough. Just go away.

Well ever since they started installing the wheelchair ramps in the locker room ......we saw this coming. I doubt he will really retire until Wilfred Brimley gives up his job as a medical supply spokesperson :)

On the fence, off the fence, retire not retire...all I can say is I still like to watch the guy throw the ball.

Heck, I know more than one person here that would welcome him with open arms:rolleyes:.

From the land down under????????? Welcome Farve???????? Me thinks the cool aid is taking effect down there. On a side note It would seem Blago is going to get off as well, so nothing surprises me from the land of black and blue!

This should make your day mate: "Brett Favre for President!!"

I think what Thad ment was that there are members of this forum that would welcome him with open arms................Not the Bears.

And..........how quickly they turn. I can remember ALL the cheese-heads raving about how wonderful Brett Favre is.

I said it before and I'll say it again.............he shoulda stayed retired the first time.

BTW, I'm not a Bears, Cubs, Sox, or Bulls fan. I will watch the Blackhawks tho.

I don't think I will ever understand how some people get their ego all tied up with some sports team or individual. Whatever Favre does, some will treat it as a personal triumph (or catastrophe).

All teams have to do is study the Saints game and that would make for a long year:D

Of all the NFL players to complain about, he would be the one of the last on my list.

I would rather have him as my QB than the one in Dallas! :)

Keep him as far North, East, West, or South from the Land of Lincoln, and the home of the Bears as possible. I'll accept the fact that we (Bears fans) have to live with Lovies choices.

I was just saying I like watching him play. It is amazing what he can still accomplish at his age. When you have QB's half his age that can barely hit the side of a barn and are supposed to be the best thing since sliced bread and he outplays them...;)

I have never cared personally for the guy, mainly because he can't even pronounce his own name:rolleyes::D:p Oh, and he was a cheesehead:cool:

And finaly, yes, I was refering to here the site. More than once I have seen people raving about him.

Hold on, wait a minute. Oh that's right, sports fans in the Cleveland Ohio area have no right to talk when it comes to players in the NFL let alone any other sport. I'm sure, since Cleveland somehow ends up with all the "way past their prime" players we will wait about 5 or 6 years then we will bring Farve in on a "rebuilding" team. I'm still amazed when I hear "Next year we are; next year we are; next year we are; next year we are".

Thank god I'm a Steelers fan!

The Bears will be much better off when Lovie and Angelo are gone. They both should have been gone after last season. IF the offensive line improves, we'll have a decent team this year, if not, I'm guessing we'll go 8-8.
I wish the media would just ignore him completely until the season starts. Favre is not just a great QB, he chooses his team well. If he played for the Bears last year, there's no way he'd come back this year. He'd still be nursing injuries from getting killed on every play since we have one of the worst front lines in the league. He chose the Vikings because they have an incredible offensive line.

Even though he was captain int. he still helped carry them to the door step of the super bowl. He is getting up there in age but he can still play. How come cal ripken jr played until he was 41 and everybody cheered him on? I guess it's the whole will he retire or not thing. Well at his age with the punishment he takes and now another surgery who can really blame him for not knowing if he is up to it until game time? Not a vikes fan just a footbal fan.

Re: Will someone please tell him to just go away

Well lets put it to where I can understand how it works....

I know everyone is saying they are tired of him retiring and then unretiring every year......Its kinda like after a bad day fishing i swear up and down to anyone that will listen that I wont fish again..only to be fishing the next weekend.

Or for the drinkers...Wake up with a headache and you swear you will never drink again..until the next time someone shows up with beer...

I bet at the end of each season he is truly ready to quit but if someone was offering me millions of dollars to come back and do something im good at and love then i bet your @@@ ill be back out there

I actually don't have a "My" NFL team since I live in Los Angeles. You probably haven't been down to New Orleans lately and you would see how and why people call it "My" team. You have every right to not see it the same way but it happens with others. Its their escape mechanism.

Personally, I would never let my ego get wrapped up in a blog site either.
