I have a motor that the lower unit that came off moves about 30 degrees each direction to shift and I have another lower unit that the shift turns almost all the way around. Will they interchange?
Superman the reason the shaft turns around so far is you need to turn it till you find the detent for fwd gear and then turn it counter clockwise to the next detent the should be neutral and the following on should be rev. if you turn it to far in rev. then you have to turn it all the way around till you get fwd. again
