Will the Tilt from a 135 fit a 70hp? PICS

Will the tilt/trim motor from a late 1990's Merc 135hp fit a 1987 Merc 70 3 cyl?
Here are some pics. My unit is the same as the gray one with the square pump motor housing on the right.
The one I am thinking of buying is the black one with the round pump motor housing.

No I haven't got it out yet.
Here's why I'm thinking of a whole new unit:
When I first got the boat given to me the motor had been stored tilted up for more than 10 years and the tilt ram was seized. At that time I had it disassembled, honed, and re-sealed. The mechanic told me that it might or might not last and he suggested a new one at over $1200 plus installation.
As it sits now, the pump motor is dead and the washer and retainer on the top of the tilt ram are loose. You can see the top O-ring bulging out and the motor won't tilt all the way up into lock position even with the vent screw opened.
I figure instead of throwing money at this crusty old salt water unit I'd get a newer fresh water instead.
Here is a pic of the retainer, washer and O-ring on my tilt ram.
I hope to get it out today. What would you do?
