My old boat had way worse than that, heck the keel didn't have any gel coat left and the fiberglass was probably only half as thick as it used to be and it never cracked or even leaked any water in.

Everything I saw looked pretty superficial to me. Did notice that in pic #3 there appears to be a 'crack' right at the chine. Might just be the angle of the photo too. Take a closer look at that one, poke around with a small knife and see if all feels good. If so then I'd say go boating!:D

You can be like my grandfather and just spread some gasket maker all over it and hope for the best.

none of them are deep..my concern is that it "looks" bad..but my thoughts were like "how bad is it in reality compared to just "looking" bad?" thats why i posted pictures.. i have to say..this is a 2000 eduardo?o 14ft boat so its almost 10 yrs old..i kept hitting it with my fist to see if i hear any cracking sound but it seems alright..those are probably just scratches..some deeper than others but yet just scratches..

would a keel guard be a smart investment for me? if so..what size of keel guard should i be looking at?

no, thats the deep scratch!

yesterday this boat was in the water and i went under it to see if i see bubbles and yet, no bubbles..i suppose that if there were cracks,i should have seen bubbles right?

they may be closed cracks and open up if there stressed. Also i could only be a crack in the gelcoat and not all the way through.

just put boat in the water on the trailer. Look in from topside to see if you are taking on water OR, put water in from topside with garden hose to see if you are leaking water from underside.

Are your rollers wore out? If your worried about looks, I'd clean it up and get some of the clear rollers.

I doubt you would see bubbles from underneath. Air isn't escaping...water could be getting in. Either way...no bubbles.

Looks like your rollers aren't positioned correctly. The boat should only be resting on keel or chines for that type of roller; they will stress-crack the flat part of a hull. When the boat gets older you won't want to roll across them either; use bunks or load-rite rollers.
Don't fret about the scratches.
You don't need a keel guard on a 10 year old 14' boat unless you frequently bump or beach against sharp rocks. And it won't do anything about the scratches you have.
