Will this prop work?

Hey guys im looking at a Stainless steel prop that came off of a 5.7 mercruiser with an alpha one outdrive.. My question is, will this prop fit on my 3.0 mercruiser with an alpha one sterndrive?...Im buying it from a guy an hour away so no easy way to take boat and test fit...hoping this isnt too stupid a question for the pros on here...:redface:

All Alpha one props are interchangeable.

Are you sure the prop size will run well with your smaller HP? What size do you currently run and what is the new prop size?

it was a 19 pitch probably a little to much for my engine.. especially since i was gonna be pulling tube and wakeboards...

With your scant info I would say the 19stainless is likely too much for water sports.
