Will V/P SX-MTD mate with Gas engine

Will a V/P SX-MTD (diesel) mate up with a gas engine? What mods would be required. It's a 1.66 ratio. Thanks!

The SX's are used on gas engines all the time.

I understand that the SX drive is used extensively on gas applications, but this particular drive came off a dual drive diesel set up and has the "diesel" sticker on the side. I'm wondering if their are any mods necessary to mount it, or if the "diesel" sticker is only a factory sticker.

Just a sticker change. Setup is the same, even the ujoint shaft is the same.
