I heard that muskrats like to chew on the rubber boot around the outdrive. Just wondered if, first of all, vaseline is safe to put on the rubber and secondly, will it deter rodents.
Somebody must have experience dealing with the pesky rodents that might chew on the rubber boot around the outdrive. what can I do to deter them besides buying a guard?
Dont use it ...Dont you remember from health class,vaseline and rubbers dont mix.Same principles apply.Hang mothballs around it,that usually works.Charlie
