I have a Fulton winch (model K1550) on my boat hoist. It squeaks / squawks badly when when I lower the boat. My neighbors complain about the noise as I often ski early in the morning. I know the noise is coming from the friction disks. The manual says not to lube them, but is there anything I can do to make them quiet?
