im a new user here so first of all hi everyone, and thanks for the advice.<br /><br />ok, ive just got a great deal on a small catamaran (16ft). it came with two 12hp "wind" outboards, One was said to be going and the other i got in pieces with the advice that it needed a gudgeon pin and two small end bearings. I am "quite" mechanically minded so i can do the work myself, but i cant locate the parts. Does anyone know of anywhere that stocks them. <br /><br />I'm also open to suggestions about changing the pistons to something similar and boring the head if thats what it takes, but maybe someone would have had a problem similar and would know a better way. <br /><br />Wind outboards are made in russia according to the plate on the side and the engines were both made in 1994.<br /><br />i dont want to have to change the engine as it is the same as the one that works --- (oh by the way the one that was "working" was actually seized but i got it going again. I suspect that the boat had sank previously.)<br /><br />any and all suggestions are appreciated, thanks
