Windlass/Bow Roller

89' SeaRay 230 Weekender - Danforth Anchor.

I just purchased a Pro-Sport 550 Windlass. Id like information on which bow roller to choose and mounting information that will assist.

I don't think you have many options, do you? Bow rollers are made based on the size and type of anchor they're going to hold. If you have a 10-pound Danforth, the rollers from Attwood, Windline, Lewmar, etc. will be about the same physical size. Like this:

You do have a choice of fixed vs. self-launching (pivoting) type, but I don't have any experience with the latter. I do plan at some point to replace mine with a pivoting roller because my anchor simply will not release on its own. The 'mate' always has to nudge it free while I work the windlass switch.
