Window Tent

[SS MAYFLOAT]

Was thinking about tenting my cabin windows with the mirror type tent. But first I thought I would see if anyone here knows if it is legal? Don't want to spend the money and then find out its illegal. I have seen the bigger yachts with dark smoke/black tent, but never saw any with the mirror type. Thanks........

Well maybe if the Coast Guard was coming down on you at night with their spots and saw all that light coming back at them... they might see it as a threat and bring out the big guns ;o}> Ha..........<br /><br />Really I have no idea, just wastin your time.

hehehe Capt_Ultra <br />well good luck SSM, i spent 20mins trying to find out- ckd Fish&Wildlife,DNR,USCG got nada. can't remember if i actually got info on this or winged it on mine. i ended up applying to my side windows, not front, same as auto regs. this is on just a WTW glass boat. since i put mine on, i guess i don't have to worry about scraping it off as i would hate to pay $70per piece(what auto owners pay in atlanta)and then scrape it off with my fingernails while pleading the lawman to let me go... <br />good luck maybe you'll hafta break down and call the USCG?
